New Balance to Host the 2022 New Balance Nationals Outdoor Championships at the University of Pennsylvania's Historic Franklin Field Boston, MA – March 23, 2022 – New Balance is proud to officially announce the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Championships in 2022. This new annual event showcases the very best of US high school track and field and will offer strong competition after 3,600 student athletes competed and 5 national records were broken at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Championship held at the New Balance Track and Field Center at The Armory in NYC earlier this month. This year, NBNO will be held at the University of Pennsylvania's historic Franklin Field from June 16 to 19, 2022. The Armory Team, who produced NBNI, will be back to ensure a smooth, exciting experience for all the athletes in attendance at NBNO.
With a storied 125-year history of hosting elite track and field, Franklin Field offers an unparalleled experience for high school athletes. Franklin Field is the oldest two-tiered stadium in the country and has played host to presidential speeches, professional football games and college championships.
